What exactly does connecting authorize?
Check the domain and request in the wallet prompt; cancel if they differ from the page description. This site requests only your public account address. It does not request a private key, recovery phrase, signature or asset transfer approval. Clear the connection here, and revoke site permissions in your wallet if needed.
Why check records after “submitted”?
Submission, a transaction hash and receipt are different states. After a real distribution, check execution and confirmation using its hash, then verify the receiving address, amount and network. A hash alone does not prove receipt. Once the campaign opens, confirm a payout in your wallet and the network transaction record. A connected status is not proof of payment. A payout should have a verifiable transaction hash.
